Fall Runs

So, to help with this weight-loss thing that I am working on, I have decided to throw a little math into my scheme.  You see, I learned a long time ago that if I input less calories than I spend then I lose weight.  Makes sense right?  In other words, my doctor told me to get my heart rate up for 1/2 hour every day.  Since I have been a running fool lately, I have decided to use that to help me on my weight-loss goal.
So, tonight I went for a run, and ladies (and gentlemen?) let me tell you that fall is in the air!  I enjoyed the crisp wind bellowing around me and the leaves swirling at my feet and the very real fear that winter is not far behind.  I don't know what I will do when it is winter, but for now I am going to enjoy my fall runs.
Oh and it turns out that I just ran 5 km's in about 1/2 hour. . . I seem to be speeding up. . . now I just need the sun to stay out longer so  I can keep going without worrying about my safety!

  1. I miss running. I need to get back to it. This may have just motivated me to get my butt in gear!

  2. Running in the winter is the best. I loved it when it was dark and it started snowing. It was so peaceful. And even when it's -25 out, you don't really have to dress that much warmer because you heat up pretty quick. You just need a good pair of mittens and a nice touque and you're set!
