Hello!

I noticed that it said that I hadn't posted in 4 days. Trust me, I haven't stopped running, and I haven't stopped posting about it, however the hubby had gone out of town this past weekend, and . . . well. . . . it is really hard to try and go for a run when you are carting 5 kids to and from dance recitals, garage sales, hair cuts, throwing birthday parties, going to church, etc.
So, I had to wait until Monday to run. That was okay. I kind of figured that I would have to do that. So, I ran at my mom's house on Monday. It was hard because my sister was out of town and I usually use her computer to play movies while I run, to inspire me, and she must have taken her computer with her. . . can you believe it? I mean, didn't she realize that I would need her computer in order to inspire myself not to stop running???? (just kidding!) So, I decided that I would watch tv instead. Can I just say that Regis and Kelly in the morning are NOT that exciting and it was probably one of the longest hours that I have ever run! I was not thrilled to be enduring that kind of pain!
Question for anyone who may be reading this. . . . have you ever watched the tv show entourage??? Do you think that that would be something that would be good and distracting to run to?
Let me know!

  1. Never seen Entourage, so I can't comment.

HOWEVER, here is a list of my favorite treadmill-running shows (which I rarely watch at any other time):

Law & Order (any of them)
    The Bachelorette
    The Hills
Bones (okay, I watch this anyway, but it is great for running)
    Medium (same as Bones)

For some reason, "mystery" shows seem to work really well, because I always want to see what happens, so I stay running until I find out.

As for The Bachelorette and The Hills, I have no good answers. It just is what it is.

  2. I know that Jarett puts on episodes of Law & Order or other such dramas when he does his stationary biking and it goes fast. It's funny how that seems to be popular. You can actually get the seasons quite cheap.
I just listen to music while I run. Michael Jackson, ABBA, and Taylor Swift are the top of my lists right now...haha. I'll be 17 forever. Anyway, those are my little tips...not that I have loads of experience, but those are what I like :)
