Mr. & Mrs. Smith

I've figured out what the trick is for me. I have to be completely occupied elsewhere in order to run. I was able to run for an hour and 20 minutes (doing intervals) and go over 5.5 K because I was watching a movie. Yep. There's nothing that quite gets the motivation that I need like Brad and Angelina sweatin' it out in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I guess the key is for me to watch action movies because I guess if I see them running then I won't feel as bad. . . I don't think it would have the same effect if I was watching a romantic comedy. . . . who knows, I may have to try that if I ever run out of action flicks.

  1. When I ran, I'd just let my mind wander. As long as I was thinking about something else, I didn't get tired as quickly. It was great thinking time.
