I can't run today!

So, I DID IT!!!! I ran 10K's all at once yesterday! It was great! It took me an hour and a half and I ended up walking 2 Kms but, I made it through the whole thing. I felt great! Well, that is until the adrenalin stopped pumping through my veins and my hip started to hurt. I think that my hip really hurts when I run because it is slightly out of joint because I lug my incredibly HUGE baby around all day and he sits on that hip! Whatever the reason, it HURTS!!! Badly!!! So, I couldn't do my running at my mom's house this morning, so I just walked on her treadmill. It worked, but it wasn't that fun because my hip was sooooo sore!
If any of you don't have it yet, I got the "Biggest Loser" CD set at Costco a couple of weeks ago for like $15 or something like that and I LOVE the songs! My favorite CD is the 80's remix! There's just nothing like running to "Take My Breath Away" with a little backbeat to it! Seriously, check it out!
I am also going to Costco today (its grocery day) and I think that I will see if I can pick up a couple of box sets of Law and Order. I love the series. . . I think that I watch all of the different spin offs, but I haven't seen a lot of the episodes so that might be a good choice for me. . . that or Bones. . . I have a really hard time watching things on tv that I have already seen, so Medium, the Bachelorette and CSI are all out for me. . . I am a regular follower of all of those shows and have seen pretty much every episode.
I due for another run tomorrow, so hopefully my hip will have healed enough for me to run. . . does this happen to anyone else, or just me? I KNEW that this baby was big, but geez. . . he really has caused a pain in my side!

  1. When my hip was hurting from walking/running my mom suggested talking calcium because it worked for her. I didn't ever try it so I can't say it worked for me, but it worked for her!
